However, I've been disapointed with the performance of the 80 tooth blade. I've had trouble with a few things, the first is that when cutting a bevel (saw tilted), I see quite a bit of deflection in the blade on anything but the smallest of stock. Cutting 3/4 pine caused this blade to deflect, thus bind, thus burn, and leaves me with an uneven cut. I'm confident that it's not my saw (Delta TwinLaser - 15 amp motor) because other blades work well. The other thing I don't love is that it takes forever to wear the yellow paint off the blades with cuts - and so every cut has a hint of yellow for quite a long time. Not a big deal, but kind of unecessary. To round it out, I'm just not that happy with the cut even when it's straight down. I get chipping or tear-out on almost any kind of lumber that I've tried... red oak, pine, poplar, etc. It doesn't matter how fast or slow I make the cut. While that's a pain, I will say that the center of the cut is very smooth. The rough cut blade does do a fine job for cutting framing lumber straight up and down - very fast. I have not needed to use that for a bevel cut, but I would guess it has the same problem. So, if you do rough cut work and don't have a need to make bevel cuts, these are probably a great deal. If your needs are more, then I would say spend your money on some better blades.18 of 20 people found the following review helpful.combo blade packBy A CustomerThis is a great deal! The money I saved buying these blades allowed me to buy other accessories for my saw. Not to mention the fact that after using the 32 tooth blade for cutting the framing I can switch over and use the 80 tooth blade for the molding. The thin kerf of these blades allows for accurate cuts.14 of 18 people found the following review helpful.Saw Blade Combo PackBy A CustomerThis is a great deal, for any one with a 12" mitre saw.. ...I got 2 saw blades a 30 tooth, and an 80 tooth, one for finish work and one for rough every day cuts , ... my saw came with a 60 tooth blade ,, now I have 3 blades that will allow me to cut anything I need...GREAT DEAL, I actually got 1 blade free, ...See all 13 customer reviews...
