This ultra-heavy-duty, 18-volt tool produces an impressive 1.7 ft-lbs. of impact energy, resulting in corded power without the cord. The high-performance, commercial-grade motor drives the bit at 0-1,100 RPM, and 0-4,100 blows per m-inch The variable-speed, reversing switch provides precise control throughout use, and a heavy-duty hammer mechanism ensures fast penetration with very low vibration. Users will also appreciate the factory-set clutch that greatly reduces sudden, high-torque reactions if a bit jams in the hole. Other features include: a 360-degree rotating side handle for maximum control; an adjustable depth rod for consistently boring exact-depth holes; and a compact, L-shaped design that fits into tight spaces that are inaccessible to standard SDS rotary hammers. The DC212B comes with a side handle and depth rod. Battery and charger are sold separately. It’s backed by DEWALT’s three-year limited warranty, 90-day money-back guarantee, and two-year free service contract.

The process was smooth and very quick - very satisfied with the results.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.excellent tool for a great priceBy victorylappThis Cordless roto hammer was perfect. It works as well as a hilti (although their battery is far superior) for half the price! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cordless solution to their hammer drill.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Small and powerful, lacks feature for hammer chiselBy HobbyistIt is a great tool for drilling in concrete with percussion bits, or normal drilling with cutting bits. You need a 3-jaw chuck adapter to SDS+ for drilling wood or metal with HSS, Silver & Deming, Forstner bits. The less expensive Hitachi 725792 SDS+ Shank to 3-Jaws Drill Chuck Adapter needs your chuck with 1/2-Inch-20thread. The complete adapter with chuck, Bosch 1618571014 SDS-plus Shank 3 Jaw Chuck is about twice as much. But what I think is really missing, since there's a rotating selector for drilling with or without hammering, is a selection for hammering without drilling. This would allow for the many chisel bits out there, that I have used extensively to take down block walls, clean grout lines, remove tile floors, etc. with my corded Bosch 11236VS in HAMMER ONLY MODE. DeWalt, pay attention! Add this feature.See all 5 customer reviews...
