HarrisThe new charger is too sensitive and gives the Too Hot/Cold warning if trying to recharge batteries soon after they are discharged. I waited over 30 minutes but could not get it to stop the warning. Two hours later it was still blinking the warning. It worked the next day in the basement, but that was too late. I would rather use the old dual charger. Also, it protects your batteries very well. Its the BEST you can buy... the only thing that is VERY Discouraging is the cost.... for around $90 its a little expensive. However, it is a very useful item for any DeWalt tool owner as it charges two batteries at a time - fast.
