Notice I said cordless whenever you have a few lags to sink or nuts to tighten this is it. The batteries last a long time 70 3' 3/8" lags into redwood on one charge which is great compred to everything else out there in its class the 36 volt Dewalt is even better but alot more expensive. This has nice balance and eventhough its heavy(every 1/2" impact wrench is heavy) it feels as good as possible in your hand. the rated 300 ft/lbs is a little generous but these estimates always are i tested on a torque reader at about 190 ft/lbs which should free almost all nuts(eventough most people overtighten things very few things rquire more than 100 ft/lbs to properly tighten )I ve had this for over two years and use it daily and its lasted no problems i just replaced the brushes more out of habit than need(i replace all brushes at least every two years if not more often, for 5 bucks you can make a tool last a lot longer).All this said if you have hundreds of lags a day to sink invest in a cordedbut for most jobs this is perfect2 of 3 people found the following review helpful.Outstanding Dewalt 1/2" 18V Torque WrenchBy Kenneth AnthonyOutstanding Dewalt cordless 18 Volt Impact Torque Wrench.
