It looked new and unused when it arrived. The invoice stated there was no packaging because the item came from a larger set. I've used the battery and it appears to hold a charge. So far so good. But I will probably not be purchasing anything from this seller again because I did not receive the item in as expected (in it's original and unopened packaging).
