GillIf you're going to use this for something more serious than laying out a youth soccer field you may get a little aggrivated. Hard to keep level. leg locks not very positive. Might be OK for rotating remote operated laser at close ranges on hard sufaces. Spending an extra $30 will get you a good deal more quality. I think I can make this one better with a few minor shop moifications (a little epoxy here, some better fastners there). If you take care of your tools this will be fine. SellarsWell made product; however, the product was paired on the site with an expensive Dewalt laser level and they are definitly not compatible with each other. Despite that, I adapted the product for other things and it is durable product.
