The first track came in the factory box and did not appear to be damaged, but it had a slight bow of a 1/4" in the middle of the track and when I tried to attach it the the 59" track the tracks did not align properly. This is were Amazon shines, The return was fast, simple, and painless. I went to and with a few clicks of the mouse I had return labels and had the replacement rail being shipped immediatley and expidited at no charge to me. Amazon would even have UPS pick up the damaged rail, but I was close to a UPS shipping store so I dropped it off myself(I wanted the return receipt.) The replacement rail came in just two days and this time it was shipped with the factory box inside a large oversized cardboard box with air pillows around it. The new track was dead flat and aligned perfectly, and quickly.
