Kramerunlike most items today this tripod comes out of the box completely assembled and ready to use. Less than 10 minutes after opening the box I had my laser level mounted on it, leveled, and in use. One thing that i did not expect was that there is no stopping point for the legs (meaning they will fold all the way out if you want). Thus allowing you to set the tripod fairly low to the ground. The leg adjustment locks are extemely easy to use and the entire unit seems to be made very durable.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.Good for telescopes too !!!By QS3000I attached an 11-lbs Celestron C130 telescope on it with an iOptron go-to controller. The total weight is at least 13 lbs. Works better than the original go-to controller tripod and adjusts very easily. Put 3 small and cheap level indicators on each leg to level the tripod and you have a very nice piece of equipment for a good price.
