For some reason, even though Amazon has free shipping on this item, when you go to checkout they tack on $96 in handling fee. Anyway, this replaces a 4 year old electric unit that had minimal hours on it. After some research, I've found that the heart of a pressure washer is the pump, not the motor. Many pressure washers are considered "one season wonders" because the pump is built to last only a couple hundred hours. The pump on this unit is made by General Pump, from what I can tell they make good models and not so good ones. Only time will tell how well this one stands up. The motor is top shelf, the Honda GX390 commercial 13 horse unit. I have a seven year old generator with this engine, still starts first time every time. This pressure washer may be too much for the average homeowner. It has a ton of pressure. (Ok, two tons). It comes with many pages of warnings including "risk of amputation" which I believe to be accurate. If you were to spray your foot with this monster, you will be visiting the emergency room. It will break glass, remove automotive paint & cut the sidewall of your tires if used incorrectly. It will also easily remove oil stains and make that 30 year old driveway sparkle. If you must have the baddest pressure washer on the block, this beast is for you. I'll give it 5 stars if it still works as well down the road.See all 1 customer reviews...
