I am a home repair guy and there is usually electricity available, so why go for cordless? It's one of those things where you just have to try it to realize that it is a real time saver as well as being safer and even more versatile in certain situations. The tools in the DeWalt kit work very well and are very easy to use. They appear durable and well made. This has been my experience with the DeWalt products that I have used. WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG :) I find it has 3x the power and battery life of Ryobi or Prter Cable, more durable than Milwaukee and is better priced than Makita. The set came with two extra batteries (total of 4) a $130 dollar value at Home Depot.
