Owner's manual is a photocopy. Must be they buy them in bulk and bag them for resale. No evidence they are reconditioned. I'm happy with both. Just don't expect original Dewalt bubble packs.The batteries put new life into my drill. The XRP batteries are much more powerful than the XR style, and seem a little heavier. For those that have had trouble with buying batteries from this seller I'd recommend that they junk their charger.
