I wanted a dedicated track for 8' material I just find this track to be about a saw length too short on the overhang of a 8 foot cutthe perfect set up would be 3 59" tracks and keep 2 of them hooked together permanently I am going to buy a 46" track and cut 12" off to connect to my long track and then I will end up with a 34" short track for smaller panel cutsreally you cannot have to much track0 of 3 people found the following review helpful.DeWalt TracksBy Gene from Dad'sI bought this track hoping it would work with my Makita saw. It will not, nor do I think it will work with Festool saws. The DeWalt design is simpler, with one ridge in the middle, whereas the Makita has a ridge and a U channel near one side and a lip on the far side to help secure the saw. The DeWalt does have a clean cut strip on both sides indicating the track is reversible. Tracks are not reversible with Makita or Festool.0 of 10 people found the following review helpful.one man operationBy Larry CrowsonThe track should include a way to clamp the track in place. To cut a panel in the 8' direction it's hard to clamp in place and use the track saw.See all 3 customer reviews...
